The Mission: "Break the App"

We have a big vision and a fast-moving product, but to win, our app needs to be bulletproof. We aren't looking for a "numbers" person; we need a diligent, meticulous, and relentless tester.

As our QA Intern, your job is to find the cracks before our users do. You will spend the majority of your time "rolling up your sleeves" and probing every corner of the Firsty mobile and web apps. You’ll be the gatekeeper of quality, working alongside our product team to ensure that every release is better than the last.

What you will do:

  • Deep-Dive Testing: You will become the power-user of the Firsty ecosystem. You’ll systematically test new features, perform regression tests on existing ones, and try to break the logic in ways we haven’t thought of yet.

  • Case Documentation: You will build and maintain our library of testing use cases using Testmo, ensuring that no user scenario, no matter how small, is left untested.

  • Bug Advocacy: When you find a bug, you won’t just report it. You’ll document it with precision in Linear, providing the "how, where, and why" so our developers can fix it fast.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our AI/CX intern and the engineering team to bridge the gap between user feedback and technical fixes.

  • Edge Case Probing: You’ll be the person who asks, "What happens if a user does X while traveling in Y with power-saving mode enabled?" and then you’ll go find out.

Who you are:

  • Supremely Diligent: You have an "eye for detail" that borders on an obsession. You notice the tiny UI glitch, the phrasing error, or the 1-second lag that others miss.

  • Tech-Curious: You might not be a developer, but you understand how apps work. You’re comfortable navigating technical environments and learning new QA tools quickly.

  • Persistent & Patient: Testing can be repetitive. You are the kind of person who stays focused and keeps the bar high, even on the hundredth test run.

  • Clear Communicator: You can explain a complex technical bug in a way that is clear, concise, and actionable for the dev team.

  • Amsterdam-based: You must currently reside in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work here.

  1. Issue Tracking: Linear

  2. Test Management: Testmo

  3. Automation (Bonus): n8n, Playwright, or basic SQL/JS knowledge is a nice-to-have, but your mindset matters more than your code.
