Senior backend developer

Position Overview:
Firsty is looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial backend Developer with significant experience in
building a high-quality and scalable backend for a B2C mobile application.
As a backend developer at Firsty, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our ecosystem and
contribute to the growth and success of our startup.
We’re looking for someone that has the ambition to jointly disrupt the telecom industry and set a new
standard in backend development for mobile apps!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for our mobile application.
- Define an architecture that can easily scale to support 1+ million users in the short term and scale
indefinitely in the long run
- Collaborate with mobile app developers to ensure smooth data exchange and functionality
- Integrate multiple third party APIs through a scalable
- Implement secure and efficient APIs, data storage, and communication protocols
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Develop new architecture
- Build up and lead a team of developers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a backend developer (preferably Java/Node.js)
- Proficiency in database management and design
- Experience with setting up a solid Firebase structure and migrating from Firebase to custom
backend
- Familiarity with mobile app development and mobile-specific considerations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic startup setting Node JS or Java development to drive the success of our projects.Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to architectural decisions will be key aspects of this role. Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer, proficiency in backend technologies, and a strong understanding of system architecture.
