Splitser and Firsty get travellers holiday-ready

Splitser takes care of the money, Firsty the connection

Anyone who travels with friends will recognise it: a group chat full of payment requests, while mobile data still needs to be sorted out just before departure. Thanks to a partnership between Amsterdam-based companies Splitser and Firsty, travellers can now arrange both in one place.

Through Splitser, travel companions can keep track of who paid for what and how shared expenses are divided. Through Firsty, they can arrange mobile data before departure for more than 170 countries. Premium users receive 500 MB for free.

“Travelling with friends always involves two practical matters: money and connectivity. By adding Firsty to our app, users can arrange their mobile data in the same place where they keep track of their shared expenses,” says Quirine Naaijen, Head of Partnerships at Splitser.

“By making Firsty available in a place travellers already use, staying connected abroad becomes a simpler part of preparing for a trip,” says Vince Vissers, co-founder of Firsty.
