questions and answers
As we develop our app you might encounter things you're not sure of. We're here to help. Below you'll find frequently asked questions on the Firsty eSIM, Firsty's data plans, and more.
Why is roaming with T-mobile so expensive compared to Firsty?
Traditional telecom providers like T-mobile charge high roaming fees because they rely on agreements with foreign networks. Firsty bypasses these expensive agreements by partnering directly with global carriers, offering free mobile data for essential apps and affordable data plans.
Does Firsty’s data plan cover all apps, or are there limitations?
Yes, Firsty covers all apps. Firsty Free provides unlimited access to essential apps like messaging and navigation. Classic gives you a prepaid data bundle at the highest available speed, and Unlimited gives you unlimited daily data at the same speed, often at a lower cost than roaming fees.
Can I use Firsty alongside my T-mobile subscription/ SIM card??
Yes! Firsty works alongside with T-mobile. This means you don’t need to swap out your existing SIM. You can keep T-mobile for calls and texts while using Firsty for cost-effective mobile data when traveling.
Will I still be able to receive calls and texts if I use Firsty instead of T-mobile for data?
Absolutely. Firsty only provides data, so your regular SIM can still receive calls and texts as usual. This means you can stay reachable while avoiding expensive roaming charges.
How do I check if Firsty is cheaper than T-mobile roaming plan for my destination?
Simply compare your provider's roaming rates with Firsty's Classic and Unlimited plans: providers charge per MB or sell expensive day passes, while Firsty gives you a clear, affordable alternative with no hidden fees.
